Nearest Supermarkets Uttoxeter- Tesco, Waitrose , Asda & Lidl. –
A50 Uttoxeter – Head north on the B5030 at McDonalds roundabout following signs to Alton Towers.
After approximately 500 yds you will come to another smaller roundabout, take the first exit left. Carry straight on and continue for approximately 3½ miles along the B5030.
You will pass a large ornamental lake on your left hand side, followed by a sports field, at the roundabout take the 1st exit signposted ‘Hollington’.
Drive along Hollington Road, past the JCB World Headquarters factory on your right hand side (The Story of JCB) and the JCB Social Club on the left hand side.
Carry on for approximately 1½ miles along Hollington Rd.
As you are going up the 2nd Hill you will see the left turn you need into Combridge Lane, ( there is a ‘ford’ sign at the end of the lane, don’t worry, the farm drive is before it! )
After 100 yds Field Head Farm drive is first on the right hand side, next to a big oak tree.
Turn and drive slowly following the tarmac drive down to the Farm.
Before arriving at the large pond veer right-Hen Camp is to the right.
From Ashbourne / Peak District :
From Ashbourne, take the B5032 to Uttoxeter via Mayfield and Ellastone.
Approximately 1 mile after Ellastone, there is a right turn where the B5032 continues to Cheadle – do not take this!
Stay on the main road, this is now the B5030 to Uttoxeter.
At the next roundabout, take the first exit and carry straight on for Rocester / Uttoxeter.
A further 500yds – you will see the JCB World Headquarters factory front on your right hand side.
At the 1st roundabout, take the 3rd exit (straight on) and then immediately after at the 2nd roundabout, take your 2nd exit, signposted Hollington
Drive along Hollington Road, past the JCB World Headquarters factory on your right hand side (The Story of JCB).
Carry on for approximately 1½ miles along Hollington Rd.

Being the closest town to camp, the historical market town of Uttoxeter has several pubs, restaurants and coffee shops for you to choose from. As the home of the Midlands Grand National (Racecourse), Uttoxeter also has a number small pubs including The Talbot, Steeplechase (open late with DJ), The Smithfield, The Old Swan – Wetherspoons, The Dapple Grey, Bank House Hotel as well as it’s own micro pub The Horse & Dove.
