One last thing, we are not sure we mentioned…the wood fired hot tub! – yes, we really did think of everything!
Mess Area
An Experience you’ll never forget! – You can’t beat relaxing in a secluded spot where, with family and friends you can sit watching the sun go down while soaking in the fresh still water of a cedar wood hot tub. No noise of a motor running just the faint crackle of firewood burning in the firebox and the popping of corks as you toast the bride to be!
Access to the hot tub is via the meandering pathways from your Bell Tents located in the exclusive use camp close by.
The Wood Fired Hot Tub will be shut at 11pm – curfew time, by your host who will attached the cover to prevent any insect friends taking a dip.
A firing up of the wood fired hot tub is included in your stay, and additional fires can then be added over the weekend if needed at an extra charge.
From the Hot Tub and Den area is short pathway to the fire pit where you have plenty of seating around the pit for a group meet up in the evening. The large fire pit will have wood all ready and waiting to be lit when you arrive. Should you need help please let us know and Mick your host will be on hand to assist. The fire pit area is a great location if you’ve also booked any creative on site activities such as floral crown making or even a ukulele workshop.
Extra wood will be available at a small extra charge.
This is also the BBQ location if you’ve pre-booked a Cooked BBQ prepared by Mick. Again this area has plenty of seating including picnic benches and if your lucky you may spot the herons in the stream over the fence.
The Den
In close view to the hot tub is the Den area a small simple canvas covered space with seating. A lovely section of the wood where you can change in to your bathing suit or simply gather in the evening as the summer sun goes down and the chill of the night approaches. If you’re lucky enough to have beautiful mild evenings we can also remove the canvas walls and roof to allow the breeze of the day to blow through. This extra space is also ideal if you’re planning any games or looking to chat with friends before retiring to your Bell Tent. Located between the Den and the Mess Area we provide complimentary Garden Games which you can use through out your stay. These include a Volley Ball/Badminton net as well as a rounders set and more – lot’s of fun for those wanting to burn off last nights Lemon Cheese Cake from Mary’s Menu.
Stunning setting, fabulous camping, scrumptious afternoon tea, lovely hosts... We couldn't have asked for more!
