A Perfect Glamping Location – Sugnall Walled Garden

Many of you may already know Sugnall has a special place in Tinkers Bells heart.
We work with some fantastic venues every year but for the last couple of years our favourite and most unique wedding/event location is Sugnall Walled Garden. The walled garden is a quintessentially english oasis with some amazing history, with it’s summer marquee for weddings and events as well as the special place that is the Peach House perfectly placed inside the walls and licenced for Civil Ceremonies. And not every walled garden has its own Tea room where you can smell the aroma of lavender and garden flowers growing just a pebbles throw from your table while the gardens brace of ducks wander around to the visitors amusement.
Andrew and Emma at Sugnall have welcomed Tinkers Bells in to the Sugnall fold with open arms, endevouring to bring together the complimentary seductiveness of over night bell tent accommodation to those that appreciate the charms of an alfresco celebration in a traditionally english location like no other.
With so much to see, smell and do at Sugnall Walled Gardens, the view over the wall of the gardens from the elevated decking on the side of the newly renovated Old Carpenters Shop is the perfect accompaniment to a summers evening before guests retire to our Bell Tents pitched conveniently along the grassed bank.
Visiting Sugnall on a warm summers day for a Wedding Village set up in 2017, sipping an orange juice or two, maybe sampling the odd treat from the tearoom menu on our lunch break is something we’re certainly looking forward to. And along with being warmly welcomed by ……. the bouncy black labradors on our arrival, we’ll be trying our hardest to remain as professional and speedy as possible when erecting our tents. As you can imagine the pace of our set ups does tend to slow somewhat when your looking at the view we have over this unique jewel in Staffordshires crown – the perfect Glamping location.
Sugnall Walled Gardens attractions can often be the Tinkers Team’s distractions….in good way mind!
